Winona Elementary 's 3rd-5th graders had an amazing time at the State Test pep rally on Thursday! A big thank you to the Holmes Community College cheer team for bringing the energy, excitement, and encouragement as our students gear up to do their best on the upcoming state tests!

Congratulations to Ben Rosamond! Ben is a junior at Winona High School and has been accepted to the 2026 Pre-College Summer Internship Program! The program “Wood-Based Products: A Sustainable and Domestic Choice” aims to provide hands-on research experience for high school students with an interest in wood science and wood products.

Ben will begin his summer internship program on May 26 and will continue through June 26, 2026. He will receive a stipend along with food and housing while gaining invaluable experience this summer. The program is supported by funding from the US Department of Agriculture National Institute of Food and Agriculture through the Sustainable Bioeconomy through Biobased Products.
