Students from WES were honored with a red carpet event on Thursday, April 10th in the WHS auditorium! Students who earned proficiency and/or growth on the 2023-24 MAAP tests in reading, math, and science were recognized on stage. Your hard work paid off! Jennifer Gray and the MS Dept of Rehabilitation teamed up with Hwy Patrolman Jose Watson and the MS Highway Patrol and presented the juniors and seniors at Winona High School with the P.R.O.M. campaign this morning. This public awareness campaign encourages prom-bound students to understand the "full-circle" of consequences when choosing to drink and drive, text and drive and/or not buckle up. Students at WSS were rewarded on Monday, March 17th with a fun day for their hard work on the benchmark tests before Spring Break! Hamburgers, hot dogs, nachos, and drinks along with countless games to play and an amazing obstacle course jumper made for a great day!
