Show your Homecoming Spirit!

September Teachers of the Month: Mrs. Marleigh Chickvara & Mrs. Suzanne Shaw
September Paraprofessional of the Month: Mrs. Ashley Lindley
Mrs. Chickvara brings joy and enthusiasm into everything she does. Her positive attitude shines through her instruction and radiates to her students. Her smile and upbeat energy create a classroom culture where students feel safe, supported, and excited to learn. She models perseverance and positivity, inspiring both her students and her colleagues each day. Well done!
Mrs. Lindley has gone above and beyond this month, stepping in wherever she is needed across the building. From testing support to assisting students in other classrooms, she has done it all—always with a spirit of teamwork and a willingness to help. Her flexibility and dedication ensure that students get the support they need, and she does it all without a single complaint. She is a true asset to our school community. Well done!
Though Mrs. Shaw is new to our school family, she has quickly established herself as a leader in instruction. She is an absolute professional—knowledgeable in her content, strong in classroom management, and highly skilled in instructional delivery. Her organization and preparedness show in every lesson, and she makes the hard work of teaching look effortless. Her impact on students is already clear, and we are so fortunate to have her on our team. Well done!

August Teachers of the Month: Ms. Leigh Denoon & Ms. Laneda Owens
August Paraprofessional of the Month: Mrs. Jessica Campbell
Ms. Denoon has taken on extra duties time and again. She has risen to the challenge of accepting all her students. Her classroom is a well-oiled machine and safe space for our students. She shows excellent pacing during small-group instruction, moving quickly enough to keep students engaged without leaving anyone behind. She is patient and dedicated to all her students.
Congratulations, Ms. Denoon!
Ms. Owens has been teaching for many years, and instead of losing passion, hers continues to grow stronger each year. She is powerful and calm at the same time. Her instruction and classroom management are impeccable, and she truly loves and cares for her students. She can often be found leading small-group instruction during morning interventions and is always fully engaged with our students throughout the day.
Congratulations, Ms. Owens!
Mrs. Campbell has stepped up in a big way this year, even continuing to run small-group instruction when Mrs. Parkinson was out. Her dedication and initiative make her a true asset to our school.
