The WMCSD Exceptional Education recently celebrated their amazing teachers. Through a grant made possible by the MS Professional Educators Organization, the WMCSD Exceptional Education Department was able to provide a luncheon for these dedicated teachers. The goal of the grant was to "boost morale and celebrate the accomplishments of a school's teachers and staff." Forty other schools/districts in the state were awarded these competitive grants. As part of the celebration, teachers were entertained by the WHS choir and students recorded video messages or wrote cards to tell teachers "what you mean to me." We are so thankful for our dedicated teachers!
