WHS Names Earnest Harmon Offensive Coordinator for the 2026-2027 School Year
Coach Earnest Harmon Jr. is a proud graduate of Noxubee County High School, where he was a standout football player and a member of the 2009 state championship team. Following high school, he began his collegiate career at University of Mississippi before continuing at Gardner-Webb University, where he earned First Team All–Big South honors and was a two-year letterman. He later returned to University of Mississippi, where he completed his bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a minor in Psychology while also serving as a student coach.
Coach Harmon began his coaching career in Corinth, Mississippi, where he quickly developed a reputation for building disciplined and competitive teams. He later coached at Noxubee County High School, where he contributed to the team’s success, helping lead the program to two playoff appearances, two North State titles, and appearances in two state championship games.
With a strong foundation in both athletics and academics, Coach Harmon is committed to developing well-rounded student-athletes through discipline, accountability, and high expectations.
