WHS Names Carlton Brown Defensive Coordinator for the 2026-2027 School Year
Coach Brown joins the Tigers after coaching most recently at Starkville High School. After a 7 year stint in professional football, Coach Brown earned both his Bachelors Degree as well as his Masters Degree from Jackson State University. He is focused on developing disciplined, coachable athletes and strong team culture on and off the field.
He is thankful for his beautiful wife Chasity and their four amazing children. His coaching philosophy values communication, preparation, and leading by example, and he takes pride in helping players grow both as competitors and as young men.
