Winona High School has Named Keelee Butler as the Head Softball and Volleyball Coach for the 2026-2027 School Year
Coach Butler is entering her sixth year coaching, including the past three seasons at Delta State University, where she has earned a strong reputation for her dedication to student-athlete development and mentorship. Known for her holistic approach, Butler emphasizes both on-field performance and personal growth, helping shape well-rounded individuals prepared for success beyond the game.
Prior to her time at Delta State, Butler served as an assistant coach at the University of Jamestown (N.D.), where she contributed to all aspects of the program’s operations. Her responsibilities included player development, game planning, recruiting, and day-to-day program management. During her tenure, she played an integral role in the development of talent, helping guide seven student-athletes to All-Conference recognition.
A native of Canada, Butlers coaching perspective is rooted in her accomplished playing career. She captured two silver medals and a gold medal at the Canadian Women’s softball National Championship. Butler played her collegiate career at Iowa Western Community College and Alcorn State University. While at Iowa Western, she earned Academic All-American honors and was named a Second Team All-Region selection.
Butler brings a purpose-driven philosophy to her coaching, viewing her role as an opportunity to positively impact the lives of her student-athletes. She is committed to fostering excellence, character, and growth in every individual she mentors.
She resides in Carrollton,MS, with her husband Hayden Butler.
