🍕📚 Learning is DELICIOUS in PreK! 🎉

This week, Ms. White and Ms. Brisendine’s PreK classes brought their stories to life! After reading The Little Red Hen Makes a Pizza and A Letter to Amy—a story about writing an invitation to a party—the students put their learning into action!

Today, they decorated for their very own pizza party, made their own pizzas, and practiced what they learned about invitations by inviting their BOOST class friends to join in the fun! ❤️🍕

From reading and writing to cooking, creating, and sharing with friends, it was a wonderful day of hands-on learning—and a pretty tasty one, too! 🐯❤️

🍕 Learning is DELICIOUS in BOOST class! 🍕

This week, our BOOST students enjoyed reading A Letter to Amy and The Little Red Hen Makes a Pizza—and then brought their learning to life!

On Thursday, students created paper plate pizzas while practicing their shapes and colors. 🔴🟨🟢 On Friday, the fun got even tastier as they made, cooked, and ate their very own pizzas! 🍕😋

But the learning didn’t stop there! Our students also practiced responsibility and independence by helping wash and dry their dishes after their pizza-making fun. 🫧🍽️

Once everything was cleaned up, they joined their PreK friends for the big outdoor celebration! 🎉☀️

What a wonderful week of reading, creating, cooking, learning, and making memories together! ❤️🐯

Our PreK–2nd grade students had the best time shopping the Book Fair with their grandparents, looking through books, picking out a few favorites, and making some sweet memories along the way! 📖🥰

Our Lower Elementary Boost PreK little Tigers had a piggy good time learning about saving money! 🐷💵❤️

Each student painted their very own piggy bank to help them remember that even a little bit of saving can add up! 🪙🐷

Ms. Angela White’s Pre-K class brought the story Corduroy to life with a fun hands-on learning activity!

After reading Corduroy and learning how the little girl in the story saved money in her piggy bank so she could buy Corduroy, our little Tigers made piggy banks of their very own! 🐷❤️

🎲 Students rolled number cubes, counted the dots, and then placed that many coins into their banks to begin their own savings journey! 🪙💵
