🏃‍♂️🐯 SHOUTOUT to our Junior High Cross Country Team! 🐯🏃‍♂️

These Tigers didn’t let a little rain slow them down! 🌧️💪 Every runner finished the race, showing determination and Tiger grit all the way to the finish line!

👏 LaDarius Woodley had an outstanding finish, placing 6th overall, followed closely by Camden Woods in 7th place!

🏗️ Engineering in Action! 🐯

Mrs. Milling’s 8th grade students put their Engineering Design Process skills to the test with some fun and challenging hands-on projects!

🌉 Using just two pieces of paper and 6 inches of tape, they designed bridges that could hold weight.

🏢 Then, using 50 note cards and only 6 inches of tape, they built 12-inch towers strong enough to hold 2 pounds!

Along the way, students practiced teamwork, communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking as they designed, built, tested, and improved their creations.

Learning by doing makes a difference! Great job, Tigers! ❤️🐯🖤

We’re excited to announce a new reason for our WJHS Tigers to work hard, aim high, and take ownership of their grades! ❤️🖤📚

Marshea Unique Creation has graciously partnered with WJHS to recognize and reward outstanding academic achievement!

🏆 At the end of each nine weeks, the TWO students in each grade level with the highest overall academic average across ALL of their classes will be recognized.

Each of these students will receive a TIGER BUCK that can be redeemed for a FREE spirit shirt from Marshea Unique Creation! 👕🐯

That means SIX Tigers will be rewarded each nine weeks:
📚 2 students from 6th grade
📚 2 students from 7th grade
📚 2 students from 8th grade
